The Sensation Ride™ I.C. treeless saddle is the newest addition to our saddle lineup, thoughtfully designed specifically for the unique build of the Icelandic horse. Created to accommodate their shorter backs and compact height, the I.C. offers exceptional balance, comfort, and freedom of movement while maintaining the lightweight feel and superior weight distribution Sensation Ride™ saddles are known for. Inspired by traditional Icelandic saddle designs, the I.C. features the classic ridged seat shape that many riders appreciate for added security and support during expressive movement and long hours in the saddle.

The I.C. model comes with a ring on either side of the pommel for breastplate use and 5 additional rings for gear at the rear of the saddle.

The flap of the I.C. model has just enough forward angle in the flap for a shorter leg adjustment. Riders with longer thighs will appreciate the flap shape as less confining than the Dressage models.

The I.C. seat shape provides the rider with support on the upper thigh while echoing the feel of a traditional Icelandic saddle with its distinctive ridged seat design. The Formal seat upgrade will reduce the upper thigh support. Both seats come with a smooth seat, but for that added grip, we suggest upgrading to the roughed out overlay (Formal Only) or roughed out full seat. The knee roll is average to full with a moveable knee block that attaches under the knee roll. Top Blocks are also an option with this model to help secure the riders leg during expressive movement. I.C. are measured using English Seat Sizing, ranging from 16" to 18".

I.C. are available to order in Dressage Reduced and Narrowed Pommel. You can upgrade to Dressage Narrowed or Dressage Reduced.

The I.C. is equally at home in the show ring, out on the trail, or enjoying the smooth gaited miles Icelandic horses are famous for. Comfortable for both horse and rider with many options to customize your saddle to get just that right feel to spend hours under saddle with your equine partner.
