Crafted from premium leather, the Sensation Ride™ Formal Dressage Seat is designed to deliver exceptional comfort and a personalized fit. Each seat features a supportive foam base topped with a super slow-recovery Poron® overlay, creating a soft, cushioned feel that molds comfortably to the rider.
The Sensation Ride™ Formal Seat is interchangeable with our Sensation Ride™ Formal Dressage, Sensation Ride™ Classic Dressage, or Sensation Ride™ English (A/P) Trail saddle models.
Designed with a refined, close-contact feel in mind, the Sensation Ride™ Formal Seat minimizes bulk beneath the rider's thigh while maintaining a narrow pommel profile. Slightly padded, heavyweight (flap-weight) leather jockeys wrap the pommel area, creating a sleek, traditional appearance and a more open, streamlined feel for the rider.
The Sensation Ride™ Formal Seat is an excellent choice for riders seeking a classic show-ring presentation, offering the elegant look and clean lines of a traditional English saddle. It is particularly well suited to riders who prefer a more forward position or ride with shorter stirrups.
Because the majority of the seat cushioning is positioned toward the rear of the seat, we recommend pairing the Formal Seat with a Sensation Ride™ Pommel Bolster to provide additional support and enhance overall rider comfort.
Please Note: Due to the customization of our seats, we do not stock premade seats. Each seat order is made at time of order. Lead times of seat is roughly 2 to 4 weeks for completion from the time Seat Order E-Signature is done.
